Readers have named Eiffel Tower 2002 Restaurant of The Year! Eiffel Tower edged to the forefront among numerous entries, taking into consideration the “total dining experience.” We weighed our readers comments based upon criteria that included chef’s creativity, background, experience; ambiance; romantic view; style of cuisine; cocktail lounge; service; and uniqueness.

The Eiffel Tower restaurant, the finest dining experience in the Paris Resort in Las Vegas, should not be missed. Romantic, and panache - casual elegance - may best describe the ambiance; cuisine reaches unparalleled levels; views of Lake “Bellagio” and dancing water shows 11 stories below are spectacular; and service is near flawless.

The Eiffel Tower Restaurant is the creation of one of the world’s acclaimed award-winning culinary talents, French Chef J. Joho. Whether you select from the multi-course or a la carte menu, Joho’s updated French classic cuisine results in preparation and presentation with excellence in creativity, flavors, and textures. His award-renowned restaurant, Everest, is highly acclaimed. He is also chef owner of Brasserie Jo Chicago, and Boston.

During a recent visit we could not resist tasting each other’s dishes. Our Epicurean guest stated “this is the most fascinating dining experience in my life”. Appetizers that tantalize the palate include an outstanding Foie Gras, and Sautéed Escargot, and the fine Caviar sampler, 000 Beluga, Osetra, and Sevruga, accompanied by fine Champagne is an excellent choice. Entree selections include wild Filet of Atlantic Salmon, wonderful Sautéed John Dory, and outstanding Dover Sole, each served in its’ own unique style.  Meat aficionados will savor flavorful and delicate Roasted Rack of Lamb, Tournedos Rossini topped with Foie Gras, and Sautéed Veal Medallions with forest mushrooms.

Don’t miss the Eiffel Tower dessert, a symphony of chocolate including a beautiful white chocolate replica of the ”tower,” or choose from an assortment of seven different preparations of soufflés. The wine list has been awarded the Best of Award of Excellence and features an extensive selection.

The romantic cocktail piano bar offers the same breathtaking view and features soft piano music nightly.  This is my favorite spot to enjoy drinks pre-dinner, after-dinner, or any time in between. It also offers a light fare. Private rooms also offer the spectacular view and are available for small or large affairs.
